This has been a rewarding experience for me,navigating my way through the maze of technology. I remember even before this course began I had some trepidation. I really thought that learning the Web 2.0 technologies would have been more difficult. Thanks to those people who were always willing to lend a hand, and to our tutors who never gave up on us. I now know how to do, and I know the onus is on me to practice the skills learnt.
Preparing our lessons plans would be our first attempt at integrating the technology and I hope that we will continue to try and perfect our lessons.
Marcia, I agree to a point with your sentiments it was rewarding because as teachers we have to know more, and since technology is the way to go, in order for our students to learn then we as teachers has to learn in order to put it over. But is was also very frustrating for me (no fault of the lecturer though). I was never a techno person just the normal email and typing in Word document so therefor the frustration. It has a saying "you cannot teach an old d...new tricks", but I will like to add if the old d....is young at heart then it would try even though sometimes there might be pain.
